- Shopping, Traveling & DiningThere is a long-standing debate between those who prefer cake and those that align best with pie. Often people who like pie can do with or without cake. Some cake supporters say that pie is very much one dimensional, containing variations in crust and fillings, and that's it. As for cake, they say the recipes can be much more complex, offering many options with batter, filling, icing and crust like enclosures. So, you might ask, where does that leave the discussion? What say you? Good news: Favorite recipes can lead to both cakes and pies being appealing. Have you never liked apple pie? Me too, until I experienced the apple pie recipe offered by Raw Jazz Man. Not only was the crust flaky, but the combination of aged cheddar cheese and green apples provides an unexpected decadent experience that is absolutely delicious! Any cake with cream and berries, will do, too. Thank you!
- House and Home MattersSet a Realistic Budget First, be clear about how much you can and are willing to spend to make your home more energy efficient. Then create a plan to support your budget. Begin by focusing on the least costly items. For example, check the caulking around your windows and weatherstripping around doors. Read about other simple ways for energy efficiency on a budget.
- Workplace SolutionsMultitasking at work is nothing new, but finding ways to better manage time can be. Workloads are rarely consistent. Most jobs require multiple tasks to be completed by a deadline, whether by end of day or EOW, etc. Often workdays include addressing emails and attending office meetings, too. Add interactions with your team for a quick chat, laugh or break and you might ask yourself where did the time go?
